I suffer from GAS, I admit it. I was trolling KEH.com the other night. They had a Black ZI in the used section rated BGN for $750. Hell I ordered it. Just got it. It is in Freaking mint condition!!!!!

Just got it like 2 hours ago. Anyway, please RFFer's at least pretend to be jealous.:eek::eek::D:D It is a backup to my first ZI. Yipee. Don't worry Joe I will always love Bessa and I bow at the lotus feet of Leica everyday.

I just received today my last camera ever, a mint chrome MP 0.58.
I sits so well with the new Hexanon 28mm I received two days ago...

Really, jealousy will have to wait at least a few days....:D

KEH grades are something insane. They are so conservative that they are meaningless to most of us users (My last order has just been processed).
Maybe scratches start to appear on their "completely destroyed" grade...

Well, I guess now we have to shoot some film.

There is major difference between jealousy and envy. 99 out of 100 people writing on the internet confuse the two emotions.

No one here could possibly be jealous of your new possession except possibly you, in the unlikely event she started to date your best friend.
 
Why would I be jealous? I'd rather have the cameras I've got.

And why do you want people to be jealous? Isn't this like the (seriously stupid) teenager who dates someone they don't fancy in order to provoke jealousy in the person they do fancy?

Fortunately I was never that stupid, even in my teens, but I had friends who were. I don't recall that it ever did them any good.

Note also Kevin's perceptive post. I'm not envious, either.

Shucks, Rog, I was just fooling around (kind of like a stupid teenager) cause I received such a nice rig in the mail today.
 
Congrats ... that is some bargain! Some times these bigger dealers have strange prices ... from memory it was KEH where I picked up a hard to get lens that was priced at a third of it's current value!

As Joe said though ... you don't have an R4A and R3A yet ... I'm considering an R3A to go with my R4A but I don't think I'll bother with the CLE! :p

I'm amazed that Roger etc didn't pick up that you were just playing with us ... maybe they're having bad days! :D

But you know what?

I'm neither jealous nor envious. I'm happy for you.

It's like when your 'ex' finds a new partner. If you really loved them, you're happy that they're happy. I have an 'ex' whom I love like a sister (we went out together when I was 16 and she was 14). There were at least two times in the last 40 years when we might have got married (and stayed married, happily), but both times we were Otherwise Involved. As it is, we're both happier with our respective partners -- and we're both happy that the other is happy.

So, at the risk of sounding like an ageing hippy,

As far as the "ex" is concerned whether she snags another partner isn't my business anymore - good, bad, or indifferent. I just don't go there.
