W/NW: Holga...

Thanks a lot, Chris.

There are some inspiring "freestyle" pictures in this thread. Although I believe lomography is all about colour and I've never shot b&w with my Holga before, I am now really tempted to try it out. Good ones Morca007, meven, photophorous!

without sounding like a perv here but this image is truly beautiful. the colors, the pose, the framing, etc.

no discussions of bokah, sharpness, what f-stop or which generation Holga this was. everything about it just works.

I totally agree!!! Though I am a perv....

I took this one in a packed club last Friday. Pictured is sir David Rodigan, the absolute godfather of reggae-dj's and kind of a hero of mine :)...

The colour shots remind me of family instamatic shots on the base-model kodak 126 camera in the early 70s :)

I have to wonder what they'd look like through 3d glasses

Damn you all!
Just when I had got over my GAS you come and sneeze all over me with HolGAS!
Damn, damn, damn! My poor, poor wallet!

damn amoz, nice shot! what film?

Thanks, Toddd. I used expired (10/2007) and now discontinued Agfa Optima 100. The shop at www.lomography.org still had a stock of them last year, and I bought 10 packs back then. I will soon be going back to my favourite Holga film, the Fuji pro 400H.

Wicked shot, Nathan! I like how you can still make out her face --adds a dreamlike subtlety--, but it does look like there was a lot of post-processing involved, no?
