what a great little camera.
i have been shooting with it for the past 2 days and reignited that 'what a great camera' feeling.
so small but not tiny and with the zi grip on it oh so very comfortable in the hand.
a near perfect compliment of lenses, i may switch out the cv 25 for the 28 someday though, as i much prefer the 25 fov, though it's nice to have the small 2.8 on the body.
anyway, no new news near, just a reaffirmation.

I used to love my Hexar RF ... but I sold it last night!
Cameras come ... cameras go ... but my M3 stays forever! (that last bit was for Roland and all the M3 fans out there)
Do you use it on AE much Joe or do you you meter manually with it?

i used to have 2 complete sets of the cle and lenses and sold them both a long time ago. i bought my first cle brand new from ken hanson's in nyc and i have regretted selling them. i hope i hold on to these.

i have had the cle for awhile now, don't want to confuse folks to think i just got it. i take it out periodically and each time i am reminded about how much i like it and how i could be (and was in the past) happy with just this kit.
i'm not good at critiquing and comparing but the cle and the cv r3a are very different animals that pretty much do the same thing. i think the cle was before it's time in many ways. it feels great and small in the hand, smaller than the bessas. maybe streamlined is a good word here.
the lenses are very good, very small all well built. there is a general feel of quality to the entire kit.
but i could say the same of the cv kit as well. i genuinely enjoy using the r4a with the 21.

I saw Derrick's (Seinarot) CL and I was really amazed by the size of the thing... Like a more functional Rollei 35 - a camera I've loved!

i had a cl for awhile and it has a similar feel to the cle but the cle seems a bit more refined to me.

... more reliable too from what I just read on the net (the meter). Talk about a compact package! Haven't really paid too much attention to these aside from the odd thread here. They do seem like gems... good on you for keeping yours!

Good to hear you enjoying it, joe. I've been feeling much the same each time I take out my Contax II. It just fits me as the CLE seems to fit you. Think the VF is big enough to just "fake it" for the 25 as I used to do for 28 on the CL?
