leica doctor

it's a portrait of ottmar michaely, apparently *the* reference when it comes to repairing leica cameras -- tom abrahamsson will be more familiar with him, he recommended him to me regarding a cla, and once the time allows, i'll pay him a visit. he lives near wetzlar in a small town called ehringshausen and recollects how he learned everything he could from retired leitz employees who passed on their knowledge about the cameras to him and thus made him a specialist craftsman. add some leica folklore background comments by the network (hessischer rundfunk), and there's your short feature on leica. not bad at all.

p.s.: that's a leica mp at 1:41 (with leicavit mp).
