In the best making-it-up-as-I-go-along tradition:

Since I have an exhibit opening the day before (Sept. 12), I thought it would be nice if those of us within hailing distance (or someone from a greater distance who happens to be flying in that weekend) might want to get together Saturday for some true face-time and shoot the breeze about photography in general, RFf, or whatnot. Exhibit details are here, get-together time TBA. Cameras will NOT be checked at the door. 🙂

Edit: Get-together time is 8:00 PM

Hi Barrett, let me bump this up for you.

I would love to join you, but will be traveling next week and that weekend is already booked for me.

Good luck with your exhibit. I have to get down to the city for a meeting shortly, I may just schedule it early some day and shoot down to Brooklyn to see it.

How long will it be displayed?

If I could I'd be there. Sounds like it should be good (both your show and the meet up) there are a lot of RFF members there whose work I admire. They shall go nameless to protect them from any negative associations.

Remember Pix or GT_O!

Also, I'll be trying to set up a Gallery section here with all the images in the exhibit, for the benefit of everyone who can't make it in-person. I've been so crazed with assorted work that it might only be up some days after the opening.

If I could figure out how to get there from Floral Park, I could likely get to see your exhibit some Sunday afternoon, if possible.

i just did a google and there is a lutheren medical centre in brooklyn, might be the same place.
i was born there.

There were quite a few "Lutheran Hospital"s in Brooklyn years ago. Most were hyphenated like Norwegian-Lutheran Hospital. The original "Lutheran Hospital" was on East New York Ave. and Junius St. I grew up near there. That hospital is gone for years. Stu
