I'm starting to get tired of developing my own film and would like to try a lab. Someplace reliable, that would properly process B&W that was bulk-loaded, so no markings on the cassette. And I would want either just the negs back in 6-each strips or very inexpensive prints with them. Anyone know of a reliable lab that can do this with different type films,(apx, pan-f, tri-x). Thanks, Bob.

Shooter of Film...
True B&W developing (non C-41) is a bit on the pricey side...
If you're looking just to save (your) time in developing then you gotta figure what you're worth per hour and compare it to what a roll of film and prints is costing you...
Plus I can make any needed adjustments, in developing, to fine tune the negs in order to make printing easier....but then I'm a film whore...so I'm on the side that says do it yourself...

My M5s need red dots!
Alas, but true; developing in B&W ain't cheap. At one time, I paid $16 for developing one roll (with one set of prints) of Neopan 1600. I doubt the prints were done by hands. They were VERY contrasty...
In any event, you can always try Dwayne's Photo in KS. Then, there's Photo Craft in CO, whose services I've used for E-6, and, of course, David Wood's Lab DR5, which caters to professionals. Finally, check out A & I in CA, that also does B&W.
Have fun shopping!
PS. I'm assuming that you are in the US. Otherwise, I'm afraid I didn't help you much.

A&I over pack on the return stuff, and take way too long.
