I just got off the phone with a woman in Tampa. Florida (I'm in Miami)who's putting together an audio visual program on the Seminole Indians. She came up with my name through a Google search, which turned up some of my photographs from the mid 1970's, along with my writings about the Indians. I'll be spending the weekend going through contact sheets and making prints.

We agreed that her company would pay for useage and the prints would be returned. Right now I have a number of pictures from that series showing at a local gallery, as well as some even older work

Congratulations! I certainly hope that as a mere amateur, there will be usefulness for my photos (other than for my own enjoyment) at some point in the future.

The blog is on unwilling hiatus right now. A friend of mine was trying to revive the colors in some ancient transparencies and then post them on my blog. We've done that in the past no problem. This time something went wrong! The blog is still there but I can't access it to post new stuff. Hopefully with the help of a more knowledgable friend it'll soon be up and running once more. In the meantime nearly three years worth of daily posts, text with the photos, are still there. www.Thepriceofsilver.blogspot.com

Al - you must have a good system to allow you to find those old negs - I imagine you have many thousands. In another thread here I described my system for archiving and indexing my images. I'd be interested to learn how you have yours organised.
