Which would you prefer to take on a holiday to cover portraits and landscape?
Thanks.
Thanks.

The 75/2. It is smaller, focuses to 0.7M, and has a floating element design so closeups are of the highest quality. Walk forward to get the 90 framing... Below is a link to some 75/2 pix on an M8:

faris,
What other lenses to you have? If I were to build another M system with Leica glass the 75 'Cron would be my tele of choice. Size and quality is second to none and it's fast enough to do some existing light stuff when I want to reach out a bit more. Do a 35 'Cron (VI if you can) or a 28/2 CV and 75 'Cron and you're set.
Please do not get me wrong, I love my old 90 'Cron, she was a GREAT lens, but if I started over again it would be the 75.

Havn't tried 75 cron but one could never go wrong with 90 Elmarit, one of the best lens by Leica.

I like the 90 elmarit too, but have to make a choice. The cron 75 shall
be paired with the cron 28.
Thanks for stopping by.

I'd go 28, 50, 90 for the M8. So I'd actually buy a nice 50 first. I know my answer wasn't part of the solution set.

I like the 90 because the 75 frames are not all that easy to use. Glass for glass, they're both great lenses.
Of course, if you have a good 50, you might want to go with the 90 otherwise the 28/75 is a good 2 lens combo.

faris,
I too have a 28mm and pair is with a 90mm Elmarit... One nice thing about the combo is that the frame lines are on the plane...
