Some guy
mine does exactly the same thing.
I must say it is a worry to see others with the same problem. My planar's focus ring does seem to get smoother while I use it but after it sits for a bit the thing goes right back to how it was. No lack of use is not the problem here, some day in the far future I will have it looked at by zeiss anyway. On a good note my 28 biogon is flawless, smoother then my leica lenses even.

i dind't understand which ring I have to tighten.
this?:
Yes, that's the ring that was about 1/4 turn loose in my lens. I didn't over-tighten, I just took that slack out of it and that improved the "wobble" by 80-90%. There is still some movement possible in the barrel, but it seems reasonable to me now and I won't do more to it myself.
Sorry folks - I sure didn't mean to induce mass paranoia with my first post here!

don't worry
i don't think I am going to tighten that ring,
i'm too scared that something i'll use could scratch the rear element--
until it works, do not change a thing. (first rule of the engineer, I am not an engineer but i trust their first law.)
