I though people looked terrible on Velvia 50 (reddish skin) but these don't look to bad. Did you post process the scans at all?
I just ordered Velvia 100 which I have read is better for skin tones since its mostly for family photos in the outdoors.

I did, to remove the reddish cast you mentioned. But other than that, i don't think i have much complaints about the 50, because i just love the contrast it provides!

Good stuff Merelyok. You just can't beat slides. I have some 120 Velvia 50 that I can't wait to shoot. First time I will use Velvia.
I miss my GSN. Loved the lens, at the time I couldn't justify having that and the Canon GIII QL17 at the same time. I kept the GIII.

IIRC, it was expired since 2004 but kept in a chiller all the time.
