Many congrats, I hope you enjoy it - I love the current R2/R3/R4 cameras (I have an R4A that I use a lot, and an R3A waiting for me when I get back to the UK).so its going to be the R2A i paid for it , its getting shipped tomorrow
It will make no difference to the focusing at all.will it affect the focusing if its not the "right" adapter .
Probably not right?
I'd second the suggestion to only get decent quality adapters - mine are all Leica or Voigtlander (I've only bought Leica ones when when I've seen them cheap on the Famous Auction Site - the Voigtlander ones are nicely engineered). There are lots of cheap Chinese-made ones available, and though Chinese engineers often produce excellent goods cheaply, and some of the Chinese adapters are probably fine, a lot of people have found problems with a lot of them having poor tolerances (too thick or too thin).

when i saw adapters on ebay going for 16.00 with free shipping from china , i figured id just buy a decent adapter to begin with , why buy things twice?

the cheap adapters work fine on my bessa, no focus errors. but they bring up the wrong framelines on my M3...oh well...

For what it's worth, I was very happy with my Ts for a lot of years. I did end up spending a lot more than I expected over time for high quality Brightline finders, but there were up sides. It still is the only Bessa that will handle 85/2. 90/2, 105/2.5 wide open up close. Even though I do not use it a lot, when I want to carry one camera, that ability is a must. I also have to say I was not as afraid to knock the RF out of on the T as I was on the R.
I would go with a CV, Leica, Komura adapter only. While others might work it's just not the place I think I would look to save money.
I'll have a few up in a day or two at what I think should be a reasonable price.

The I-50 showed up today , it is an ugly bastid but the glass seems decent , all that needs to show up is my damn adapter so i can use the camera.
Ive just been staring at it wondering what im going to go shoot with it
