Screw mount J8 on Bessa R2A

I took my J8 and R2A combo to Rhodes recently and while I was there I noticed that i couldn't focus to infinity, as i was generally shooting at about f5.6-16 mostly at a bit of a distance it didn't bother me too much but i noticed that 3 wide open shots I took in a café of my partner were not focused correctly. Is this a common fault with this combo? or something to expect with screw mount lenses on m mount cameras? or is it a fault with my lens/camera?

it is normal for FSU lenses to have some "loose" qualilty.
I have J-8 which focuses perfectly on R3A, but my J-3 is slightly off.
Sometimes it can be corrected with shims added between lens and screwmount adapter.
I used rings cut off from cooking foil for that purpose.
