The two big bargain fast lenses you might look for, if you're trying to do this on the cheap, would be an 85mm f/2 Nikkor and a 35mm f/1.8 Canon. You'll also need LTM to M bayonet adapters, but the glass can hold its own against anything but Leica's most recent offerings.

Thanks for the tip. I was looking at getting a canon rf so I've been reading about their glass and how good it's meant to be.

Also, you can get nice results with the FSU stuff I like my Jupiter 8 and my Ind. 61.
