We are expecting some overnight, it's been cold and rainy all day today. Looks like I'll get to bring this week's food order across the lake in the snow/sleet/rain. That will make the boat ride ever so much fun!

Spitting snow here this morning as the sun was coming up, now really coming down pretty good. Still too warm to stick much. Some accumulation on the woodshed roof I can see from my window.
Not too much snow and it's mostly gone by now. The ground isn't cold enough for the stuff to stick. Yet.
Back and forth across the lake was wet and cold. Only a couple more times then when I come back next, it will be driving across the ice. I hope.
A couple of days ago we had a rather early frost in N. Virginia. No bagged plants as I didn't expect it in the burbs. My peppers didn't either. Oh well, there's always next year.
I don't mind snow so much. Grew up with a fair amount of it in N. Missouri. I miss it sometimes really.
Reminds me of the Vietnamese Highlands. It could be over a hundred during the day, and at night in the 40s or 50s. I understand in places like Dalat, they sometimes got snow. My vacation itenerary never included Dalat so I don't know.
Early in the week they were actually saying we could see a few flakes tomorrow here in Kansas City, but the forecasters have backed off that now. However, western Kansas is still picking up a bit of snow from what I've read. We're just getting a chilly, rainy, blustery day or two.
wray...
Are you getting the Santa Ana's over in Riverside...
The wind started over here this morning...I got my bike ride in this morning and now the wind is hitting our neighborhood...
Hot , dry wind...leaves everywhere now and the cucumbers are drying up...
