Some 1600 speed photos

I went to see a great show last weekend - the indie record label Elephant 6 is doing a sort of collective tour with lots of musicians from the label, playing each others songs. I had the R-D1 and the cv 35 1.2. I rarely shoot at 1600 with this combo, but thought I'd give it a whirl. I was super impressed. Here's a few of the best:

I was pretty psyched about the output. I think the 35 1.2 really helps at 1600, not just the extra speed, but its butteryness. When using the ultron 1.7 i get a lot nastier grain.

Thanks for looking guys! I do think the 35/1.2 has a lot to do with the image quality. It's just so smooth.

Mabelsound - No, no Jeff Magnum that night unfortunately. He's showed up elsewhere though. I don't the Aeroplane record will ever be duplicated. For those interested, google the bands "The Music Tapes","Neutral Milk Hotel", "elf power" and Julian Koster for some sound bites.
