My first roll of Velvia with the Xpan!

Hey guys, I believe this would be my first time posting in this forum. Briefly about my cameras, I have a 40D for weddings and a Gaoersi 617 for panos. Lately i've been getting bored of shooting in digital and just recently acquired a complete Xpan II kit with the 45mm lens and center filter.

I've shot a roll of Delta 400 but haven't had the time to develop that yet but the Velvia was sent to the labs 🙂 This is the first roll i've seen from this camera and I wasn't aware that the rectangle frame in the viewfinder is the exposure area :bang:

This is the wrongly composed one - I thought the whole view of the viewfinder was the exposure area 🙁 Looks like the need for the super wide 30mm is inevitable!

The colors look a bit too unrealistic for my liking, but i do however like those compositions.

I've got several other rolls of Velvia which I haven't sent for processing yet, been busy with other work lately.

Let's just say i'm obsessed with the panoramic format hence why I have both a 617 and the Xpan. The Xpan allows more mobility and ease of use compared to the 617, however I do love the 617 when I do some 'real' landscape work. These shots are just mucking around with the Xpan and my main intention for getting it is to use as a travel point and shoot and to produce something different for weddings 🙂
