So I got my KEH EX G1 and EX+ 45mm planar today. The G1 seems to be in great shape, and is much as I remember it. But the aperture ring is a little loose on the 45mm Planar. You can rattle it a bit. It works perfectly, it's just loose-feeling. I don't remember the ring being like this on my old G-series 28mm Biogon.
I'm considering buying another on KEH and keeping the one that feels best, but maybe this is normal? You tell me. Or perhaps there is a way to tighten it that I don't know about?
Also, it's a bit tough to mount the lens--feels like it needs a bit of lubrication, or cleaning. Any advice on doing this? The rest of the camera doesn't appear to need any kind of CLA.

None of the aperture rings on any of my G lenses are or were loose. KEH should be happy to exchange. TOCAD repair wasn't fast when I used them.

That's not normal. I'd ask KEH for a refund or exchange on the lens. Dropped, maybe?

Almost definitely. There's a ding on the rim as well. It really should have been BGN, not EX+.
Anyway, it's the weekend now, so I'll buy a new lens monday and send this one back when it arrives. Meanwhile I'll shoot some pictures!
