Any idea how to bring the GX back to life?

Got myself another Electro RF, a black GX. It was from a Craigslist listing. I bought this before the GL but it only arrived yesterday. Unfortunately it's not working at the moment.

Comparing it to the GL - I like the smaller size of the GX. But the ISO 1600 on the GL will definitely be an advantage (if I can find the film for it in this small student town).

This is the GX condition when it was received - the film advance lever cannot be advanced (since it's already advanced), the self time is engaged and the shutter release button is free as if it was pressed and waiting for the self timer to start the countdown.

Any idea what to do?

stuck self timer? I'm not familiar to GX, but I'd try to free it. Very carefully putting a drop of lighter fluid exactly in ST gearing and see it it frees. Just don't flood shutter. Or opening shutter if this not works.

Could the problem I am facing be POD? On a GX, where would the pad be? I might want to open it up if I know what are the potential problem.

Any thoughts?

I tried the lighter fluid and wiggling the self timer lever over recent holiday and unfortunately, it couldn't release it SF. Any other ideas or pictures of lens disassembly?
