Earlier this year there was a thread on RFF about new old stock of Nikon RF discovered in a shop. I can't find the post anywhere on RFF, but I believe the shop was located in Australia.

Check out this link on ebay

Forget the crumpler bag, but look at the picture and read the text:

"The Nikon equipment shown in the picture is part of an extensive collection of close to three thousand items that will be auctioned in the coming months. This Nikon collection is believed to be one of the largest in Australia."

Could this be the shop mentionned in the other post? If so, we may be looking at some nice Nikon RF items coming up in the next couple of months.

There is one of these strange "Prod" cameras sitting on the shelf at my local fuji film 1 hour shop, now mystery solved.

Thanks Kiu for providing the link, yes, that is the thread I was looking for.

It will be interesting to see what they offer and what prices these items go for. The ad for the crumpler bag was obviously a teaser to get our attention.

Do you think it's still interesting? What was put up and the prices?
I think the prices are really up there! Not interesting at all, neither are the pieces...

Kiu

No, at these prices I'm not interested at all. I'm also a bit disappointed he's selling various items together, instead of breaking up the kits and selling the items individually. If these 2 don't sell, maybe he'll get some realistic prices for the rest of the supposedly 3000 items. I'm also wondering if this is really new old stock or rather a collection that someone is offering for sale.

Anyway, I saved the seller in my Ebay and will have a look once in a while. I may be interested in smaller things like lens hoods, lens caps and such, if the price is acceptable.
