Yesterday there was a solidarity demonstration in Helsinki, which supported the Greek riots which have been going on for the past two weeks.

And the gallery (it might be abit heavyish, 18 photos):

Most of the shots were taken with ist d and 24/1.8, but some of the wider ones were made with epson and 15/4.5. It's great to have two cameras, one in the hand and other on the shoulder. No problems with changing lenses or using awkward zooms.

I'm impressed by the light you captured on those photos, each shot contains difficult light situations. Well executed.

Helsinki, wow. Isn't it cold up there about now?

great pix.

Heh, Helsinki is in the South, sea is near, and the climate is warming even here.. so it was some 2 - 3 °C. Not very cold.

Dwaoka and Rayt: Thanks! There wasn't much light, but shooting wide open with the highest ISOs helps a bit.

Outstanding light in all of these. The 'Human Roadblock' shot really stands out to me. All three are beautiful, though.
