I have a Pen W that has some spacing problems in between frames. It could probably also use some new foam seals and a general CLA. I need a repair person who is familiar with the Pen half-frame and might have spare parts. My camera repair person already attempted this but didn't fix the problem. So, who's the man, (or woman)?

For spare parts your best bet might be to locate a lightly used Pen, Pen S or perhaps even one of the EE models, and have your repair guy transplant the parts into your W. I'd think that the film advance mechanics would be the same. Nobody seems to want the EE models so it should be inexpensive.

I sold my working but nearly completely without black paint Pen W a couple of years ago for over $400. DO NOT sell it for $50.00! It looked like crap but the lens was clean and it worked. Your W is worth fixing. It has the same insides as the Pen S.

That was a joke. :D Had I been serious, I would have offered to trade for an old Nikkormat. And I would have thrown in a new battery!

The irony is that I have two Pen W's. The battered one works perfectly. The other won with very low miles has the spacing problem. BTW, I have Olympus Zuiko enlarging lens made for 1/2 frame format. I might ask the repair shop that Chris recommended (thanks) if they can swap a transport from a more common Pen S, as Al suggested, (thanks again).
