Phew..... M8 rules!

You really can't judge photos from the LCD on the camera. The histogram can help keep you from blowing out highlights, but the LCD's on the back of cameras aren't color calibrated.

Thanks Larry I realized that - but I was writing my last post with the camera right beside me, and I'd just looked quickly through the images. That's all I meant.
 
I actually prefer to use the G1 over my R-D1 now. It doesn't take "better" pictures, but it takes acceptably good ones and is fun to use. Haven't shot my R-D1 since I got it. OTOH, I have shot my M4-P with CV 28mm f3.5 lens alot. Film still rules.
