5DMkII 1.07 firmware.

"
Firmware Update Version 1.0.7 improves and mitigates the following two types
of image quality phenomena that occur under certain shooting conditions.

1. "Black dot" phenomenon (the right side of point light sources
become black)
2. Vertical banding noise

Firmware Version 1.0.7 is for EOS 5D Mark II cameras with firmware up
to version 1.0.6. If the camera's firmware is already version 1.0.7,
it is not necessary to update the firmware.

Example of fix.

Factor in a HUGE inventory....

Factor in a HUGE inventory....

These cameras sold well to professionals and the advanced hobbyist market bought into them as well. Same with the RB67 cameras. Not so much Bronica.

A large function of pricing is "supply and demand". The supply is very large.

I traded in Mamiyas and Bronicas for some time. I never lacked for good deals because of the huge inventory, particularly in Mamiya.

Never touched the Hasselblad market. Why shoot a $2000 kit when a $500 kit will near match it?
