Focusing the 35/1.2 on a R2A or R2M

Thinking of picking up a Voigtlander kit. Is the baselength of the R2A/M long enough to focus the 35/1.2 accurately?

Not exactly what you ask - but still...While I have R2M, I never tried CV 35/1.2 on it. However, on Hexar RF (longer BL, but lower mag of VF) it works/focuses fine.

Thanks for the info Krosya. Maybe a Hexar RF would be great too.
Anyone one with a R2x and 35/1.2 Nokton combo out there?

I recently bought an R2M and Nokton f1.2 from Cameraquest.
The focusing is not much of an issue for me.

P.S .Whats the best way to display images on the forums.
I must have missed the FAQ somewhere.😱

You need to use the tags. From your Photobucket account you can just copy that line for the IMG Code and add it in the post.

Otherwise, view the properties of your image, copy the HTTP address, click the Sun Setting in the Mountains icon at the top of the post, and copy the address into the box that pops up.

Thanks for all the replies. Hoping that I'll make a decision this weeK!

I put my 35mm Nokton on my R3A the other day but was a bit stunned at how much it blocked the viewfinder when matched to the 40mm framelines ... I guess the R2A would have been better in this respect! 🙄
