Kiev/Contax film cassettes

Does anyone know if the Kiev cassettes can be used in a Contax IIa?

I've been looking high and low for Contax cassettes, but to no avail, so the Kiev ones look like the better option.

Contax cassettes are intermittantly available on e bay. I got one last week for $5 plus shipping. I think they have three prewar Contax cassettes in bakelite containers coming up soon. Good Luck. Joe

Are cassettes for pre-war (II, III) and post-war (IIa, IIIa) fully interchangeable?

NKO---You can't install IIa cassettes in a Contax II etc. Tried it just now--didn't work.
