How has site performance been for you at RFF since the upgrade?

Since the upgrade, for me at least, it has been awful! At times pages for threads take forever to load (often twenty seconds or longer) and posting can be a test of patience at best. I hate to bitch because it is a great site but at times I've just walked away from the computer and gone and done something else because I was in danger of hurling the thing out of the window!

I don't notice anyone else complaining so I'm beginning to wonder if it's just me but I will ask how fellow Aussies are going and users from other parts of the globe!

My connection speed is fine for all other sites but here as often as not it's like dial up!

Perhaps there's gears that need to bed in and shutters that need to free up a little!

generally faster for me in the US. I have noticed that some proxy and name servers occasionally seem to hang, depending on when the calls hit - but in general, there is a noticeable improvement in page load times.

Pretty much the same for me here in Happy Valley, slow and with no change since the upgrade.

I'm still unable to upload pictures in the Gallery as I was before - I always get an answer stating that the files are to large, even if they only have 10 Kb. I have already mailed the webmaster (no answer) and I have posted this complain before (no anwers). I must be doing something wrong, I guess. I keep trying once in a while - but now I am getting used to live with it

I keep getting logged out when switching from threads to some other section of the forum. This happens particularly within the Classifieds. I've checked my cookies preferences & this does not seem to be the source of the problem.

Slower than it was for me. I particularly notice that pictures take longer to load. I use IE7 FWIW.

I don't notice a difference.

I used to read RFF over a 128 kBit SDSL line shared with 10 other people, though, so it will take a little before a site seems slow to me.
