Huge Estate Auction...Ease your GAS Pains

Nice :) How are buying stuff at these places like? Any experience?

But they do have a 18% buyer's premium :( and I'll have to ship it direct to Singapore instead of using my freight forwarder in Ohio coz they charge sales tax for Ohio :bang:
 
Honestly I have not bought at an on line estate auction so I can't say. I don't see it as much riskier than e-bay (given e-bay's lack of controls/problems resolution). If I think I'm going to bid on any of this I'll do some searches on line to check out the auction.

Am planning on attending, I just got the catalog yesterday in Richfield, have not had time to look it over.

I know some of the people involved casually, but everyone at the show and in the local club seems to know them.

Well, I see at least a few things that pique my interest, so I signed on, just in case...

Edit: Just finished looking though all the lots. Brings new meaning to the term exhaustive.
