I just ordered an 'economical' Luigi half case and strap for my M6 on Ebay, and I'm wondering what the shipping time will be to the United States. For those who have ordered in the past, how long did it take to have case in hand? Also, did Luigi send a shipping notification? Or did the case just show-up one day?
Thanks!
Thanks!

Yes, email Luigi but my hand & neck strap took a little less than two weeks . Well worth the 'wait' though.

If you ask me, I think it is rather overpriced. For comparison only, I get exclusive hand-made falconly items (full leather hood to blindfold falcons during transportation) from Italy for 40 euros.

Thanks guys - I just wanted to get an idea if his estimates where close to the norm. I ordered a week ago and paid the standard $12 shipping price. Combined with the fact that I'm in Cali, I'll expect it to take another week or two.

Thanks - I never thought to try a falcon blindfold on my camera but who knows. Maybe I'll give one a go when my Luigi strap fall off.

Mike,
I ordered my half-case on 4/14 and I was told that mine was shipped on 4/24....it may take 10 to 20+ days. The reason for the delayed shipping was due to the recent earthquake. He said the Italian post is very sloooow.

This is very interesting for your first post. A competitor perhaps?
complot theory perhaps?
It was just a short remarq from a consumer which still cares about the money going out of his pocket, ... maybe falconers are just better home economists than average photog?
Anyway, I am still searching for an affordable Hexar RF leather case.

Luigi is quick to ship out items, but the mail service can be very slow.
It took about 30 days for my halfcase to get to Quebec city.
Relax, it will get there.

Update! I received my case today! I ordered late on Friday, 4/24 - which makes it a fifteen business day delivery time.
The case is beautiful! And for those looking for a less expensive alternative for a leather strap, I ordered Luigi's 15mm wide fixed length (100 cm) strap. It is perfect for my use - light with no size adjustment buckles to get in the way or scratch the camera. It's basically an insurance policy, as I rarely walk around with the camera hanging on my shoulder - it's either in my hand or in my bag.

Took twelve days for a pair of wrist straps to arrive which I thought was very quick given Luigi's estimate of 10+ or 20 or even 30 days.
Ironically they arrived the day after I really, really wanted to use them. Que sera, sera.
