ZM 35 2.0 6 bit coded

Is there any focus effect of a 6 bit coded ZM 35 2.0 used on an M film camera? I got one which I have not really used often as I am quite busy with work and normally just tagging along my LX3 during business trips. I'm not that happy with the result of my last roll (actually 2nd roll since I got it) but will try several rolls again to check.

There shouldn't be any effect on film camera use of a 6-bit coded lens. OTOH, the digital M8 is pickier about lens focus adjustment, and when coded the lens might have been adjusted to focus better on the M8. I'd hope that wouldn't have a noticeable effect on film camera use, but it's conceivable. What's the nature of your dissatisfaction with its recent results?

The last roll I got less keepers due to focus issues, maybe it's me but let me check again. I have 1 fresh roll in my M2. 1st time I used the combo with a BW400CN results are good, my 2nd roll was Neopen 400. I'l try to post some pictures when I'm home. Our office server has restrictions. Thanks.
