Trying to be discrete, the second I turned a corner to get ahead of this guy to snap his picture, he stepped into the bright backlight of the storefront behind him, gave me this glaring stare and walked off. After his menacing glance, I decided a second shot, with a better exposure, could wait for another day. He is a regular at Seaside.

I usually do little or no post-shooting tweaks, generally preferring to live with my bad shots. This one was so severally unbalanced, with my friend here totally underexposed and the background totally blown out, that no amount of Aperture tweaking could rescue him. So, you all get to see my crummy work and his interesting visage.
