viewfinder glass for nikon s3

any ideas on a replacement for the front glass on an s3 finder? this is the flat glass that sits in a black frame held by 3 screws under the chrome front cover marked nikon . any coated glass availible thats thin ?

Microscope cover slide glass cut to size?

i purchased the camera from doug recently /
i have heard the microscope slide idea before .
was hopeing for a thin coated optical glass of high quality .
think i have a lead online from a glass optics shop here in ny .
they may not be willing to sell or cut such a small section.

i will try the microscope glass first ,

the camera is very beat , however everything works properly .
as nikons often do . i think it was a wise purchase .
