I lived in Japan from '75 to '78, and traded my Leica IIIf for an Olympus M1- forerunner of the OM-1. I had a chance to meet Maitani Yoshihisa-san, and found him to be very gracious. I think of him every time I take pictures with his wonderful cameras.
