Cheers,

oh darn....the color and sharpness look awesome... Best sample pictures I have seen so far.
Thank you for sharing.

Those pics above look very smooth and natural...makes film look, less 'real' and more nostalgic. Can't wait to have one

Thanks, man... I've been traveling a lot but will post more after I get back from this weekend's wedding in L.A. (which I will shoot with the M9 as well)... Just keep an eye on my blog.

Cheers,

Looks like the output from a 5D to me.

Interesting how all of a sudden that plastic, digital look is all the rage. :)

It's good, though, that Leica finally got a FF camera on the market.

Too many M9 threads to follow right now, though. :(

Wait...I know that door in the first shot. Took a few shots there when I got my first Hexar RF. (Now, of course, I'll have to dig that film scan up...)

This is all on-screen, Pickett. Time will tell, really. (I want files to print from; that will tell the tale.)

Where are people getting these M9's. I thought they weren't up for sale for a week.

Word is three were sold in Cleveland, ordered that is, should be here in a week or two.

I have a few shots from the parking lot, just looking at the framing and basic handling, nothing to show really, the shop is hardly in a photogenic location. I was lucky to get it outside of the shop, but they knew my bad leg would not let me get far. ;-)

Regards, John
