So I guess I need a 50mm viewfinder. I received my new Nokton 1.5 today, and of course that big old honking lens (at least compared to an Elmar 5cm 3.5) takes up about 60% of my old IIIC's viewfinder. Wasn't counting on that. Oh well...I need a decent viewfinder anyway, as the IIIC's viewfinder leaves a little to be desired. So if anyone has a viewfinder that they are thinking of being dispossessed of, please drop me a line. BTW, I burned a quick roll of BW400CN to see how the lens performed and am really very pleased with the results so far. Nice.
Cheers...

This is Peppe, the way the Nokton sees him...

The best one to me is the new Voigtlander old style 50. 1 to 1 magnification.
Looking through it is better than your bare eye, trust me !

That would be my first choice and, unless I find a good deal on a used viewfinder, will no doubt be the way I go.

And, as it turns out I did find a 50mm Voigtlander VF on fleabay for a good price. But all of this has recently become a rather moot point because I bought a Bessa R from a RFF member, and am totally in love with it...at least for the time being
Cheers...

On my screwmount Leicas I often use a SBOOI.
