Visoflex users that are considering an M9?

How many M8 owners who have a Visoflex are interested in the new M9?
The M9 will make the full frame view of the Visoflex work again where on the M8 we had to use markers to draw crop marks on the ground glass focusing screen.

I wonder how the M9 will impact Visoflex prices? I have heard they are starting to go up.

I bought my Visoflex 2, and 3 last year cheap ($60 for the Visoflex 2, $125 for the Visoflex 3), and literally stole a 135mm Elmarit with goggles ($235) and a 280mm Telyt ($250) on Ebay. My feeling is this was a good move.

I find the lenses sharp, and the increase in sensor size should make the Visoflex system more desirable.

I don't follow your logic completely. Drawing crop lines on the Visoflex screen doesn't darken it and make it tunnel-like in the way of crop-sensor DSLR viewfinders. It increases the effective reach of the tele lenses (assuming identical compositions) by a factor of 1.33 without adding (potentially) image-degrading glass converter elements, and it gives more working distance (or magnification if you don't move back) in macro. I'm sure the Visoflex will be nifty to use on an M9, but I don't see it being more advantageous than on an M8.

Actually the effect is more or les the same as a DMR screen. Rather pleasing and M-viewfinder like.

Assuming you do not have a body height problem with the eyepieces and interference, it should work well. The game will be trying to find all the short focus mounts and adapters.

Maybe this is the digital R solution?

No - the register of R lenses is wrong for the Visoflex.
