Leica CL body worth...

According to the M-mount lens guide on antiquecameras.net the price for a combination of the Leica CL + 40mm Summicron lens is around $330. The lens alone would be around $200. That would make the body worth $130. However, in their Leica M cameras listing the CL body alone would be between $325 and $500. Obviously, there is a mistake in one of these listings, or I misinterpret them.

I know the CL is not an M, but $130 looks like too cheap to me... So what would be a realistic price?

Btw, I have seen good working CL priced higher than the CLE in KEH.

I can hardly claim to follow every auction or whatever, but I've never seen a Summicron-C go for less than $300 on its own. The CL seems to be worth $300-350 in decent, user condition.

Yeah, $600-650 seemed to be the going rate for the 40+CL when I was watching the classifieds.

Thanks guys, US$600-650 was also what I had gatherered. I recently bought one and after going through the antiquecameras.net listings, I was afraid that I had paid too much for the combo 😉. On Ebay the vary, but on average $600 seems on the low end of the scale.

Recently they have been going up in price it seems like. I got mine w/lens for $450 and now realize it was a steal! Hope you enjoy your CL. It is an amazing little camera.

I think it means buying the camera and lens together is much cheaper than buying each individually.... not that you get the camera and lens for $ 330...

yup.
body runs around 200-350$ from what I have seen; 40cron-c usually runs a bit higher than body. Buy them together usually saves you $100-150$
