Anyone across the state seeing any good colors? It seems to be shaping up to be another so-so year, at least here west of Hartford.
I may take a trip to the north and west into the Berkshires tomorrow, unless I can get some tips on better locations.
Oh yes, please post some evidence, if you have it!

I'm in upstate NY- about the same latitude as Connecticut. The trees here have pretty much changed aka you better get here soon.

There are some pretty good things. I wonder if another week will help.

Thanks I had seen the map - we are supposed to be peak right now according to the local maps. But there is still a lot green deciduous trees even though a lot of leaves have dropped. I think it is one of those "out of sync " years...

Same here (northern MA/southern NH). Some maples already bare, but quite a few more, including my own, almost fully green still.
You're not going to get nicer weather than today, though. If I had the day off, I'd be looking for some nice solitary trees.
Green to yellow then brown and the ground. Very little color this year from what I see. I played golf in New Haven today. I was thinking that maybe there would be some color, but not really. Not a great year for the leaves.

Try www.thefoliagenetwork.com for more reports. They are pretty accurate.

Thanks - I think I will take the advice and just try to find some single trees. I am trying to burn a few rolls of Kodachrome before my mailers expire!
