Amsterdam!...here I come!

About six hours to go! - and I'm on the ferry to Europoort...then a few days shooting in old Amsterdam!. We have been many times, but this time my anticipation is high as due to my heart problems, this year we have not had our usual holidays, so both ready for a break!. I've had the usual gear inspection, and filled and emptied the Billingham several times!-LOL!🙂 but finally decided to keep things simple. The M2 coupled with the 35mm Skopar and HP5+ for the b+w, and for colour - I'm still infatuated with the Konica FT1 and its Hexanon lenses, ( this has actually become one of my all-time favourite cameras! ) so a 28 and 50 AR are in the bag, and a few rolls of Fuji 400 print.
So wish me good light, and calm waters! - in a weeks time - I'll probably be boring you all with bicycle and canal pictures!😀

Dave, my wife and I were were 5 years in NL. 3 just south of Schipol in a small village but working in Hooffdorp. The night bus from Amsterdam use dto stop right outside our door!

Have a great time. It is a wonderful place and generous people.

too late! - just got back!, but come two or three times a year ( to Amsterdam! ) - so next time!.....🙂, here's where I usually stay (extreme right )
