Well, here's a fun little plastic camera. Vivtar UWS, with a 22mm lens, 1 f-stop and 1 shutter speed.
Only problem is that some of these shots aren't crappy enough to tell they came from a plastic camera.

oh yeah...now we are talking real gear here! I got one of those Kodak.....somethings with a 28mm ASPH lens no less and its funny to play with a camera like every once in a while.

The really funny thing here though is those first two shots are better then some people get here with their Leica's....oh the joys of simple cameras!

Maybe somebody with a bit machine shop skills could tear the lens out of one of them and put it in a Leica mount barrel, or even a focussing mount? All cheap plastic of course. I think we'll survive if it's not rangefinder coupled. Or even fixed focus!

Where do we buy one and how much money?

I have a Vivitar UWS. Fun camera and your thread makes me want to put some film through it - its been sitting for awhile.

If you are into the lens flare thing, try shooting a portrait with the sun in frame; on mine, turned vertical with the sun above the subject, I often get the groovy flare-circle around the subject.

I got mine for $20 on ebay, but they do often go for more than that. Freestyle photo has a different brand of the same camera for $30.
They are super cheaply built, so don't expect much.

Not used my UWS for a while but here's some past pix. It's amazing the quality you can get from such a cheap, simple camera.
