From all the lenses I own, the one with the most pleasing out-of-focus rendition must be the Olympus Zuiko 90mm f/2.0 Macro.
Both these were shot at f/2.0, both are scanned 5x7 darkroom prints. Here on Ilford XP2:

When it comes to absolute isulation, even with very close / busy backgrounds, nothing in my kit does it like the Olympus Zuiko 250mm f/2.0. All these are at f/2.0, here on grainy, expired Fuji ISO800 colour print film:
And here on FP4, again a 5x7 darkroom print:
When it comes to modern lenses, the best I have ever used was Canon EF 50mm f/1.2L - sold it along with the rest of my EOS kit to fund the exotic Zuikos + film 🙂
