A while ago I got a copy of 'On Reading' by Andre Kertesz. I was working in Edinburgh at the time and was getting into street photography. After I read the book I kept on seeing people reading - everywhere, on the bus, in the park, in taxi's etc. So I started taking photographs of these scenes - they're obviously not up to the standard of Kertesz but I would like some comments on them...

So what do you think? I haven't put any of these on my website yet - I was thinking of creating a new gallery for my 'reading' pictures.

Cheers

I think it is an excellent choice of theme, and I like the shots themselves. I also like the fact that I can't spot anyone on a cell phone or laptop computer. I look forward to seeing more as you get them. I think the second, sixth, and last image are the standouts.

Very interesting subject choice, I'm quite fascinated by people reading as well, but I leave them alone most of the time. Here's my only shot of someone reading
