I discovered this cemetery recently (online) and knew I wanted to visit it today. It is very close to my in-law's house which is where we were spending our Thanksgiving day.
This is a county cemetery. A Potter's Field, where those who go unclaimed or who remain unnamed are buried. Markers are simply a small cement headstone with a number.
It made me feel sad, but appreciative. On such a significant day, we should all be thankful for the people who love us. No matter how small or big that group, we are lucky to have someone.
I'm just a little more thankful for my friends and family today because of #38 and all the others in Potter's Field.

At least the county, which ever one it is, didn't treat them like garbage.
