Someday I will luck into one of these. All of the pictures posted in this thread show why. It is simply an amazing camera, and it's obvious why it continues to hold it's value in use condition
Well,Chris,I think that the value of swc is slow going down.....you can find a used swc in good condition for 900€....

Great pix folks! Makes me want to dig my SWC out and trip the shutter a few times! I'll see if I can find some shots I've taken with it and post them!

Hey I've been Here!!
Hey I've been Here!!
Great Superwide Shots.
The Great Sand Dunes National Monument, Isn't it?
I've been there (stayed four days) with my 4x5 Sinar Norma.
Wonderful Place.
I'm off this morning, with my EL/M and 40mm Distagon.
Also the 350mm F5.6 Tele-Tessar, and three extra backs.
Another outdoor Rock Concert (XMAS Festival) starts at 11:00 AM.
Everything except the camera fits in my new Domke 803 Messenger Bag.

Hi Nokton,
The desert photos were taken in China, Inner Mongolia. More are posed here:

Glad to see the point 'n shoot thread is alive

I got an eBay SWC/M back in Feb. Here's one from my test roll. I've been using it to shoot scenes with transparency and depth on a construction site. Color neg results have been disappointing, (Leica M9 with the new 21 Summilux just blows it away) but B/W is very nice. I did some recent experiments comparing my bargain Epson V500 with a Nikon 9000 scanner, and feel pretty good about the Epson as a result.

Beautiful pics here. I wonder if anyone would care to compare the image quality to the Rolleiflex FW.

I think there are only a few of us here that have this camera, unfortunately.
But many of us lust after it. In fact, I've wanted one for over 30 years.

I had forgotten to announce my acquisition of an SWC in this thread. Well worth the wait, and the effort to save for. Here's a few pics which I may already have posted in other threads.

Genuine Hasselblad - the thin leather one. The camera is light enough that you don't really need a wider one, and anyway, the only time you need to hang a camera around your neck is to change film.

Guys, do you think 2500 USD is a fair price for an SWC/M? It's black with no major paint loss from what I could see, clean glass and a chrome A12 back. What do you think? should I go for it?
