I never ever had a good one!
In the end I ugraded to the V50 powerpack and now also have the V70 powerpack.
These really work.
Cheers,

HI MICHIEL,
years ago I bought one on ebay (i was surprised to win this auction....)But I really never used it although I fired it periodically.on dec.7 my sister will marrie and I have to take photos .I'll use my rf645 (45/65 100) and my Hassy 903swc.I think that I'd use it because I think it delivers a "better" light of my other flashes (bronica rf20 & metz 40mz2).I have to confess that the metz 40mz2 is lighter
,and I use it when I need to use a flash....(specially with my contax g2)and it's very balanced on my bronica rf645.But i'd have the best performance so I think I have to use the big metz.....The power pack?? no thanks it's too big/heavy/bulky.I just wanted to know what you think about it?it's possible to change the batteries inside the box without spending a lot of money?or it's better to buy a new box ?

You can replace the batteries yourself. I did it with my 50MZ5 a while ago. All you need is 7 AA NiCd batteries with soldering tags and solder them together the way the original batteries are arranged. I actually managed to get Sanyo Eneloop batteries working in there.

I did somethng similar for a (non-photographic) NiCad battery pack, also with Sanyo batteries with tags. Worked like a charm.
