I've done that a couple times on commercial shoots, Christmas lights in the sky shaped like planes, client thought it was the coolest thing ever.

I agree with Benjamin a 'Bokeh Wallet' is a fantasic idea - no more messing around with f numbers and depth of field just reach for the Bokeh Wallet

I've seen a lot of disturbingly fake looking out of focus areas in commercial photography lately. It just kind of catches your eye and something looks not right.
