with R72 filter for say these lenses:
pre-asph Summilux 35
and
M-Hexanon 28/2.8 (has an IR mark, but I think inf. focus is actually closer than red line)
Any good techniques for IR focus bracketing? How far is far enough for infinity - 100 yards?
I have a couple of new IR images on my blog with the above lenses.

Normally at the 5.6 DOF mark. But I usually focus-bracket. I see what you mean on your blog. That landscape could indeed be sharper.

Thanks

Yes, I've since gotten much sharper images around 5.6-8 on the focus scale.
If I recall, the landscape image was just a tad closer than the red IR mark on the M-Hex 2.4 lens, and needed many more degrees of closer focusing.
Probably should drag the tripod out.
Thanks
