I have a 28mm and a few 50's. i wish i had a 35mm, 28mm is always just a little too wide for me. though the 50mm on the M3 is bliss.
Yes, the Ultron is very nicely made, and electrically it's a "KA" series lens, convenient for later Pentax bodies. There's one cemented pair, in the rear three elements like a Planar, and the rearmost element has aspheric surfaces on both sides. I've had mine for 6 years, and it performs very well. Like the Pentax 43mm, it has a bit of barrel distortion if you look for it....My vote is for 40mm, I love my Nokton 40 1.4 and Pentax Pancake 40 2.8
