M8 second hand very cheap

Greetings, I saw an advertisement for sale of second hand of a M8. It seems very cheap. Could someone tell me an approximate value of a second hand Leica M8 body? I appreciate it very much. Thank

I'm no expert on used M8 prices, but apparently they sell for around $2500 these days. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong.

Used M8 (not an M8.2!) prices in Germany are 1800 - 2000 EUR

My 3mo old M8, 400 actuations, with case, spare battery, 2 IR filters, and packaged in the box was $2500. It looked like new, had been registered.

In my experience, I've seen LEGIT prices that of the "low-end" being $1800 - $2100, depending on condition/luck. Anything lower would probably raise somewhat of a red flag, unless investigated thoroughly.

i just traded an m6ttl for an m8, so what an m8 is worth isn't necessarily what you think it is.
it came with a receipt from last may but no filters.
the owner said he just didn't like it and wanted to get back into film, but he has a canon 5d mark something or other for digital.

That is the deal of the year, considering an M6 TTL will cost less than 1000$.

I paid around 1700€ for a upgraded M8 from UK. Cheapest I have seen was 1550€ here on classifieds.
