Discussion on BBC Radio in the last day or so about an Exhibition of Don McCullin's photographs of various conflicts over the world, which is opening this week at the Imperial War Museum(North).Hard to believe, but McCullin is 75 years old this year.No doubt details will be put up on the Web.

I well recall his Vietnam and Biafran images being published regularly over here they were a sort of commentary on the world of my youth, but he has a lot more than war photography in his locker.

A fellow Radio 4 listener ;-)

I heard the same piece, I think this might be worth a trip up there to see.

I saw it a few weeks ago in Berlin, I liked it a lot. If there's a video to accompany the show, check it out. A wise guy he is.

The exhibition is called Shaped by War and I'll be going to see it. Fortunately I live not too far away. I saw his last exhibtion at the National Media Museum in Bradford. That one covered more than just his war work including landscapes. His landscapes I found very dark and gloomy, nothing chocolate-box about his landscapes. Superb stuff.
