I just traded this to a friend for lens adapter. I didn't care for the ergonomics.

Here's my 1957 Zorki 4 with Voigtlander Super Wide Heliar and finder:

It's a fantastic shooter that I have much enjoyed. The 1957 Jupiter-8 it came with is quite a good lens, too. I have also been shooting it with a Summicron 2/50mm collapsible with great success.

Cheers,
Karl

The Zorki's flange still requires adjustment and then I hope it will work as good as it looks:

@Pakeha: I think the strap lugs are available from microtools.

Cheers,

Okay, since the old thread disappeared, I'll play along on the new one.
1957 Zorki 4 with the engraved dial and J-8

1954 Zorki 3 with busted slow speeds. Eventually it will get sent to someone to fix. Right now she just sits on a shelf looking sexy!

1949 Kiev 2 with what appears to be a ZK lens. I haven't figured out if it is a real ZK lens or just a re-engrave. It doesn't appear to be 'doctored' in any way that I can tell. I just gave her a quick CLA and some cosmetic repair and put her into service.

My Zorki 3M just as she arrived. This one was the steal of the bunch. 25 including shipping. It was off of ebay and was listed wrong. The point and shoot was the only thing listed in the ad. I waited, and snagged it at the last second for around 4 bucks for both cameras. The lens has been replaced with a J-8 vintage 1955, so at least it looks correct

There are others, 71 Kiev 4, another Z4, two Z6s etc, etc... After looking at Ebay, I need to put some back up for sale... nah, just kidding

This is my beloved Kiev 4, with a new leather cover from Aki-Asahi; the meter does not work, by the way I have been able to get good results with the "sunny 16" rule also with slide films.

A few odd ones

A few odd ones

Here are a few of my favourites................

Zorki2.jpg

The Zorki 2: still squinty but nicely made, with a much improved shutter

Zorki3.jpg

The Zorki 3: I think this is the best made of the FED/Zorki cameras

Zorki4Leather.jpg

A Zorki 4 with nice leather replacing horrible cloth covering

FEDS.jpg

A FED-S from 1941. This came with one of the nicest made cases I have ever seen.

Fed2.jpg

The FED 2, just the best looking FSU camera ever!

Leningrad.jpg

The Leningrad, for people with too much film and not enough time.

Cheers,
Dez

I think I posted in the old thread years ago but I'm having fun with my EP-1 :), so here's a fresh shot:

..more?

When I get home, I will post some photos of my FSU equipment. My "like new" ZK has serial number 000029. I have also a few CZJ and J-3 and J-8 plus a few I-61L and and one I-50 lens.

Dez, you have a very nice collection. I am envious and really pleased to see them.

I must get my wife to look at his thread, I can say:

"There ya see! Told ya there was folk who have a bigger problem/GAS/collection than me! :p
